Biography

Hi, I’m Ben. I’m a producer with Studio 2 at WHYY in my hometown of Philadelphia.

I was previously an afternoon news anchor and reporter at Public Radio Tulsa.

I graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor’s in radio production and from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism with a master’s in journalism.

Topics I’ve covered include history, public transit, Native American issues, infrastructure, science/technology, education and the arts. Among several sets of ethics guidelines, I strive to follow the rules of “MacNeil/Lehrer Journalism.”
